Ongoing projects

University Excellence Initiative

V. Kavolis Transdisciplinary Research Institute is implementing the project “Strengthening the R&D Activities of Vytautas Kavolis Transdisciplinary Institute for Social Sciences and Humanities (SOCMTEP) 2023-2027” under the programme “University Excellence Initiative” (Order of the Research Council of Lithuania No V-665). The project is funded by the Research Council of Lithuania and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania, Contract No S-A-UEI-23-13 (27.12.2023).

 

H2020 Marie Curie Staff Exchange Project

V. Kavolis Transdisciplinary Research Institute and its partners is running the H2020 Marie Curie Staff Exchange project (No. ORCA – 101182752 – GAP-101182752) entitled “Open(ing) Research in Central Asia: consolidating a culture of research ethics, data management, and open science, in Eurasia and beyond” (2025-2029). The total budget of the project amounts to EUR 1.6 million. The project consortium consists of Dublin City University, the University of Latvia, the University of Bremen, Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) and other partners.

Acceleration of the Horizon Europe Programme

V. Kavolis Transdisciplinary Research Institute is implementing the project “Development of a Networking Roadmap by the V. Kavolis Transdisciplinary Research Institute to Strengthen Research Directions and Facilitate Participation in European Horizon Programme Calls” under the Acceleration of the Horizon Europe Programme. The project will be implemented from 3 September 2024 to 31 March 2025. It is funded by the European Union NextGenerationEU initiative, under contract No. 10-038-T-0145.
