Drawing on insights from the humanities and social sciences regarding the relationship between societal modernisation and the growth of religious diversity, as well as changes in community life, this book analyses societal modernisation through the lens of alternative religiosity in Lithuania during the late Soviet era. This approach sheds light on the fundamental aspects of change within religious communities by examining the expansion of religious networks and networked communities. The monograph aims to examine the networks of alternative religiosity in Lithuania during this period, as well as the nature of community spirit and community-building practices.
