Vytautas Kavolis Transdisciplinary Research Institute has been awarded the project “Development of a Networking Roadmap by the V. Kavolis Transdisciplinary Research Institute to Strengthen Research Directions and Facilitate Participation in Horizon Europe Programme Calls” under the Acceleration of the Horizon Europe Programme. The project will run from 3 September 2024 to 31 March 2025 and is funded by the European Union’s NextGenerationEU initiative, under contract No. 10-038-T-0145.
According to the project leader, Prof. Dr. Renata Legenzova, this initiative is a significant milestone for the Vytautas Kavolis Transdisciplinary Research Institute, bringing together a diverse group of experienced and early-career researchers. As a newly established research centre, the Institute aims to build its identity and achieve international recognition. The scientific networking Roadmap will serve as a key tool to position the Institute as a central hub in a wider scientific network. It will enhance the Institute’s research themes, strengthen the competencies of its researchers, and accelerate its involvement in Horizon Europe Programme calls, with the goal of successful participation.
The Roadmap will guide the Institute’s research community in identifying relevant research themes, forming international research and project teams, and producing high-quality scientific outputs. Additionally, it will assist the Institute’s administration in identifying strategic partners, developing research infrastructure, building scientific capacity, and making other important management decisions.
